Safari 5.0.2 アップデートがリリースされています。
アップルのウェブサイトもしくはソフトウェアアップデート（Windows で Safari をご利用の方は Apple SoftWare Update）から入手可能で、対応 OS は Mac OS 10.5, 10.6、Windows XP, Vista, 7 となっています。

アップデート内容は以下の通りです。

• ユーザが Web フォームを送信できなかった問題が解決されます
• Flash 10.1 がインストールされた状態で Google 画像検索の結果を表示するときに Web コンテンツが正しく表示されなかった問題が解決されます
• Safari 機能拡張ギャラリーへの暗号化された認証接続を確立します

Flash 10.1 がインストールされた状態で Google 画像検索の結果に関しては Mac 版のみの改善項目のようです。

また Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger) 用に Safari 4.1.2 もリリースされています。

Safari 5 もしくは Safari 4.1 をお使いの方は速やかにアップデートすることをお薦めします。

AdobeがFlash Player 10.1をアップデート(10.1.82.76)しました。
Mac向けにGPU支援動画再生に対応した他、重大なセキュリティ修正が行われており、全ての利用者にアップデートが推奨されます。

修正された問題は 6 つで、重要度は非常に高いため、すみやかに最新版へのアップデートが推奨されています。対象となるのは、全てのプラットフォーム （Android 版を除く） の Flash Player 10.1.53.64 以前の全てのバージョンと、Adobe AIR 2.0.2.12610 以前の全てのバージョンです。

Today I'm thrilled to announce that Adobe Flash Player 10.1 is now available for Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. You can get it now.

Flash 10.1はパフォーマンスや消費電力の改善、マルチタッチサポート、プライバシーモード追加、H.264のハードウェアデコード等の多数の機能追加と改善が含まれます。その他、ゼロデイ脆弱性にも対応しています。バージョン10にある脆弱性は既に悪用が確認されているので、早急なアップデートをお薦めします。

なお、10.1のβ版をインストールしてある環境ではいったんアンインストールしてからインスト−する必要があるとのことです。

Flash Player 10.1.53.64 と Adobe AIR 2.0.2 公開 - akihiro kamijo

Flash Player 10.1 のベータ版をインストールしている環境では、一旦ベータ版の Flash Player をアンインストールしてからインストールする必要があるとのことです。アンインストール用のプログラムは、こちらもとりあえず US のサポートページからダウンロードできます。（How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control）

また、Mac版は今回完全にCocoa対応となっています。但し、残念ながらGPUによる動画再生支援機能(gala)は間に合わなかったらしく、非対応となっています。

Mac-specific improvements

Our Mac engineers, with some help from the Safari team, made significant changes to Flash Player for Macs. Here's a partial list of the work we completed for Argo. First and foremost, Flash Player 10.1 is a full-fledged Cocoa app (though legacy Carbon support remains for some browsers that require it). We now leverage Cocoa events, use Cocoa UI for our dialogs, leverage Core Audio for sound, Core Graphics for printing support, and use Core Foundation for bundle-style text.

アップデートによるパフォーマンス改善の計測等は改めて。

Adobe Labs - Flash Player "Gala" Preview Release

Welcome to the Flash Player preview release, code-named “Gala,” which introduces support for H.264 video hardware decoding on Mac OS X 10.6.3, the most recent release of Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Gala allows developers to preview Flash Player with hardware acceleration of H.264 video on supported Mac computers equipped with the following GPUs: NVIDIA GeForce 9400M, GeForce 320M or GeForce GT 330M. The hardware acceleration functionality in the Gala preview release of Flash Player is expected to be included in an update following the release of Flash Player 10.1.

対応するGPUはNVIDIAのGeForce 9400M、およびGeForce 320M、GeForce GT330Mとなります。
Galaはテクノロジープレビューという位置づけで、最終的にはFlash Player 10.1としてリリースされる予定です。
気になるパフォーマンスの向上は、後日確認して報告します。

クロスドメインの脆弱性に対処したFlash Playerの最新アップデート(10.0.45.2)が公開されています。

Adobe - Adobe Flash Player

10.0.42.34以前のバージョンには権限のないクロスドメインリクエストが可能になるという、もっとも深刻度の高い"critical"な脆弱性があるとのことです。

インストールされているFlashプラグインのバージョンは、Flashのバージョン確認サイトを訪問するか、メニューバーのヘルプから"インストール済みプラグイン"を選択すると確認出来ます。
古いバージョンがインストールされている場合は早急にアップデートされることをお薦めします。
また、Mac版を御利用ならば合わせてClickToFlashかFlashlessをインストールすると更に幸せになるのではないでしょうか。
